Education
I graduated from High School in 2017 from Gilbert Christian High School in Gilbert, AZ. I was a 2-time State Champion and 1-time Player of the Year Award recipient in Men's High School Basketball. My entrepreneurial journey began here when I started a sneaker and collectible reselling business using custom auto-checkout software. Eventually, I sold this software.
After taking official and unofficial visits to the Ivy Leagues (Yale, Dartmouth, Princeton, and Brown), MIT, and some other amazing colleges, I nearly opted out of college altogether. Business was picking up at that time. Although these were amazing schools, basketball was my ticket in (grades were good, but not 36 ACT good), and I couldn't balance ball and business. I opted for a route that allowed me to run my new startup, The Laced Network, while being able to earn a degree.
I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Business with an emphasis in Entrepreneurial Studies from Grand Canyon University in 2020, where I attended while simultaneously running a 7-figure online business. Attending college while running a business simultaneously provided quite a unique education experience.
Skills
My technical toolkit has become quite expansive, as has my ability to cultivate innovative solutions within the online space. My objective is to make the process frictionless by leveraging the most advanced technologies available. I have dabbled in hard tech, soft tech, and everything in between. This ranges from building applications to building full computer systems. You can call me a bit of a tinkerer. Some have used the word "nerd". I am cool with either.
I also have an better than average understanding of finance, having co-founded two finance-related companies in creative life insurance and bitcoin mining. I have gone through an acquisition with a company I founded as well.
I know how to lead teams and connect with individuals. The key to a thriving business is less about the business and more about the people. There is gold in each of us; we just need to know how to channel it.
Anything can be done; few want to figure out how. I cannot escape the curiosity, for better or for worse, all driven by ambitions to build a better tomorrow.
